My 11 year old daughter is on her third readiing through of the Harry Potter series and I would like to recommend some gen fics for her to read but I really don't read a lot of them. Any suggestions for age-appropriate fics for her?

The Seventh Horcrux by Melindaleo - This was the fanfic that was rumored to be JKR's final book when it was posted. There was a whole big internet thing about the book being leaked, but it was a fanfic written about how the series should end. It was interesting because it came out before JKR released DH, but there are a lot of similarities in the book. I heard JKR discuss it once and I think she might have read it. Melindaleo writes for teens and pretty much anything she writes would be appropriate.

The R series by greekgecko - My favorite series of al! I adore it because it takes up in sixth year with Harry defeating Voldemort and his adoption by Snape afterward. It covers the end of 6th year, 7th year and the first couple of years of his auror training. Resonance is my go-to fic when I want to read a really good gen-fic. I don't normally reread fics, but I've read it about 6 times. The final story in the series had the final chapter left unfinished, but there wasn't much left to say. She pretty much wrapped it up in the preceding chapters. She didn't finish because she said she intended to rework the last 4-5 chapters, but she hasn't done it and it's been a couple of years. I doubt if she will get to it, but it doesn't matter. It's essentially complete.

The 'Like None Other' series by aspeninthesunlight -This series is extremely popular and I adore it all. There is a gory part in the first story when Voldemort tortures Harry a little. Might be much for an 11 yr old, but maybe not if she is used to reading intense type stuff. Also, the final book is still in progress, but she is very slow. Maybe one chapter a year. Still an incredible series.

There's more than one way to get a second chance.
Snape-centric, short.
(I can't remember if this next one is suited for 11 year olds, but it's a great fic)
Apothecary and Auror, bu Pasi,
Severus Snape begins by taking a post as Potioner on a secret Ministry project, and ends by taking his first steps on the path to Voldemort.
Snape and James centric.
Cadence, by tetleythesecond, here
Amelia Bones was a middle-aged woman who lived alone, a very gifted witch, and all the evidence was that she put up a real fight.
Amelia Bones-centric, concerning her death
Okay, have to go now, but hope that helped
