Here is to hoping that 2020 brings inspiration for new stories and fics. I feel I need a new fandom but not sure where to turn to find it.

There are some fics that you wish that you could put into a binding and have on your bookshelf so that it is always close to you. Or at very least, have it on your device so that you can re-read your favorite bits again and again.
Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost by bsmog is one of those fics for me.
If you haven't read it, you should start it tonight. It is a beautiful story set five years after Hogwarts. I was really surprised tonight, as I sat down to re-read it, that it is only 91,000 words - in my head it was twice that long because Bsmog weaves such a beautiful story that pulls you in and makes you fall in love. Harry as mountain guide is wonderful and Draco is the narrator who helps Harry reconnect with Ron and Hermione after disappearing with only a note to say good-bye. The whole thing is set in Tanzania and a climb up Kilimanjaro.
Story Summary: Tired of only being the Boy Who Lived, Harry disappears after the war, leaving only a mysterious letter behind. Five years later, Draco and his unlikely friends [Hermione and Ron] go on holiday and find magic where there is none and more on a mountain in Africa. EWE.
