ginger_veela has a fun meme posted... self-evaluating your writing.

Just updated this -- eidheann_writes posted her meme and I loved how she provided the rationale for her answers so I added that to my responses here.

1) Shortest fic you've ever written. Dragonlover (300 words)

2) Longest fic you've ever written. Twist of Fate (310,000 words)

3) Your best fic. Ugh, hard one, probably Twist of Fate. Although it is in desperate need of a beta it is a story with my best plotting and best storyline.

4) Your worst fic. easy pick: Brothers United (not even bothering to link, should just take it down)

5) Your most underrated fic. - Lost and Found, probably. Maybe Cylch o Amser. Both of them I really liked but neither have gathered much notice. Lost and Found has unrequited love so I can see that, but I thought Cylch was a good effort and has the novelty of containing my first NC-17 scene.

6) Your most popular fic. Twist of Fate. I am flattered that it has garnered as much attention as it has, and I still get messages from people who were affected by it, and feel that it had a strong impact on them emotionally. It was written during a time of personal grief as an outlet and I think that comes through in the writing.

7) Your favorite fic. Last Dance Very bittersweet and sad but I still like it.

8) Your fic that makes people laugh. Realisation

9) Your fic that makes people cry. Twist of Fate. I did get a lot of comments about how Black Island made readers cry, which surprised me. I really didn't see it as being that angsty.

10) Pairing you've written the most.  Harry/Draco

11) Pairing you've written the least (but at least once). Cedric/Charlie

12) Fic that was most OOC for you as a writer. Death Be Not Proud

13) Fic that best encapsulates you as a writer. Don't know if I'm the best judge, I'll go with Last Dance. I really liked building that story and bringing Charlie/Cedric together.

14) Fic you wish could have been better. Black Island. Was written as a pinch-hit for Smoochfest, could have done more with it with more time...

15) Your hottest fic. Morning After (as close as I have come to a PWP)

16) Your tamest fic. Late Night Reading

17) Your kinkiest fic.  Don't really do kinks...If I get the plot bunny in my head written out it will definitely fit the bill, stay tuned.

Funniest line from one of your fics. . "None of that yet, your shoulders are as tight as McGonagall's drawers," (Cylch o Amser)

19) Most poignant line from one of your fics. This is a cheat - since it is the whole passage but it is one of my favorites, from Day After:
Harry started to protest, Neville held up his hand, "No, let me finish. When I saw you outside the castle, when you told me about the snake. I knew where you were going. You said you weren't going into the forest, but I knew you, Harry, and I knew what you were about to do," tears started rolling down Neville's face. "And I thought, just for a moment, that maybe it was the right thing to do. Maybe, no one else would have to die. And then when he brought you out like a trophy to throw down at our feet I realized that it was never going to end until he was dead. I went a little crazy, running up to him like that. And then I somehow had the sword in my hands and I almost swung it at him, but I wasn't going to let you down. I did what you wanted me to do. I wanted to go down fighting."
