Day 1 In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator.

Well, I did many of the Snowflake Challenge last year, and planned to try and do them all this year. Day 1 is already making me feel uncomfortable, at this point anyone who follows me has either read my stories or already decided they're tripe, but self-pimp I shall:



1) Last Dance - Cedric/Charlie. Follows canon, so you know it has a sad ending. Wrote this for Mini-Fest last year and it has my two favorite characters in it. 8300 words.

2) Love Happened - Harry/Draco. I like this one because it tells the whole arc of a H/D romance in 400 some words. Written for Anna Fugazzi for a pinch-hit fest exchange last year.

3) The Day After - Gen fic (just a little bit of canon HP/GW and RW/HG). My first fan fic. Written after being frustrated at how Deathly Hallows (book) ended. I kept re-reading the last couple chapters of the book and needing more, so I wrote 'the missing chapters' 19,000 words

I am way behind my reading, and I have to work on my family fest fic, but I just couldn't resist reading Love Happened, and well, it's simply beautiful! Love how you managed to express so much with only 400 words. Great story! Thank you! :)

There were so many stories posted these last few weeks, I'm hopelessly behind and still needing to WRITE! Thank you for taking time to read it.

Day 1 is already making me feel uncomfortable, at this point anyone who follows me has either read my stories or already decided they're tripe I'm doing this too and that's so how I felt. It's mortifying.

Still, this challenge is a good thing. I've been clicking on all the banners I see, and now I found Last Dance to add my to-read list. I didn't follow mini_fest last year and missed it. It looks like a really interesting read.

(I'm even more uncomfortable with the upcoming challenge that says we have to interact with people we don't know. Ahem, as you can see I'm practicing.) Good luck with the challenges!

Thank you for practicing interacting with me, it is very hard to reach-out, but every time I have done it, I am glad because there are so many amazing talented people in this fandom it is great getting to know them. (I also write horrendously long run-on sentences when I'm tired.) I wandered over to your page and see that you are starting the new comm, I am very intrigued by this, enough so that I just set aside Remix to start composing the story that has been in my head for ages and refuses to leave. May never be completed but I'm going to try.
